• 3 ripe bananas
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (or dried fruit)
  • 1/3 cup applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • Cinnamon and sugar (optional)
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Mash the bananas in a bowl until they are smooth. Add the oats, mini chocolate chips, applesauce, vanilla, and baking powder. Mix with a rubber spatula or wooden spoon until ingredients are well-combined.
  3. Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick spray or line it with parchment paper. Scoop out tablespoon-size balls of dough and place on the sheet. Flatten slightly with the back of a spoon. Sprinkle a cinnamon and sugar mixture over the dough. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
